Enjoy your meal!

We try to prepare everything as freshly as possible and our main emphasis is on the typically styrian cuisine. Therefore there are plenty of seasonal and local products mentioned in our daily menu, for example handpicked wild garlic or mushrooms from the woods of the Eisenwurzen region.
For individual events and feasts we put together a set menu with the actual seasonal products and specialities. Naturally we offer the half board for all our guests staying overnight.

The Hunt

The senior-chef is an enthusiastic and passionate hunter and depending on the season and a little bit of luck we are proud to offer venison as a speciality whenever it is possible. From this meat prepared dishes like the venison roast or hearty stews are well known across the country and honoured.

Cosiness

… in the traditional Gaststube

A good dish needs a good surrounding. In our case this is the quaint so called Stube, which is more than centuries old, and spreads the feeling of cosiness and tradition. Furthermore we offer a small but delicious wine list with selected Austrian wines and as a particularity a wine from the slovenian winery owned by the Bendediktinerstift Admont, Dveri Pax.
